What is a Spiritual Strategy?

A Spiritual Strategist blends intuitive guidance, emotional intelligence, and practical life strategy to help you understand who you are at your core — your values, your desires, your patterns, your identity, and the deeper truth that’s trying to emerge.
This work is part soul reading, part deep reflection, and part grounded next-step planning.
As a Spiritual Strategist, I help you:

-
Clarify what you truly want (not what you’ve been conditioned to want)

-
Identify your core values and how they shape your choices
-
Reconnect to your authentic desires without guilt or confusion
-
Understand the patterns that hold you back — emotionally, spiritually, or energetically
-
Strengthen your inner voice and intuitive knowing Align your life with your highest self

-
Create a grounded, actionable plan that matches your soul’s direction
-
Break cycles and step into a new identity with confidence
This isn’t about “just talking.” This is about realignment, clarity, embodiment, and soul-led strategy.
A Spiritual Strategy guides you back to yourself — and then helps you build a roadmap that honours who you are becoming.
What is Wellness Counselling?
IWellness Counselling is a whole-person approach to healing and personal growth. Rather than focusing on just one aspect of your life, it considers the full spectrum of your wellbeing—emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, and relational. This integrative model is rooted in the philosophy taught at Rhodes Wellness College in Vancouver, where wellness is seen as a balance of all parts of the human experience.
As a Wellness Counsellor, I support you in exploring not only what you’re struggling with, but also what you value, what you desire, and who you’re becoming. We work with your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, body awareness, and spiritual alignment—recognizing that lasting change happens when all of these areas come into harmony.
What Makes Wellness Counselling Different?
Holistic & integrative
We look at the whole person, not just the symptoms. You’re supported emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Experiential & practical
Wellness counselling invites you to actually practice new tools—not just talk about them. This helps you embody the changes you want to make.
Strength-based
Instead of focusing only on what’s “wrong,” we explore your inner strengths, resilience, wisdom, and lived experience.
Trauma-informed & compassionate
Your nervous system, your history, and your boundaries matter. Everything happens at your pace.
Aligned with personal values and purpose
We explore the deeper “why” beneath your choices so you can create a life that truly reflects your authentic self.
How It Helps
Clients often come to wellness counselling when they want to:
-
Break old patterns and create healthy habits
-
Heal emotional wounds and release internal blocks
-
Build confidence, boundaries, and emotional resilience
-
Develop self-trust, clarity, and intuition
-
Reconnect with their inner purpose and spiritual self
-
Create a life and identity that feels aligned, empowered, and whole
Why This Matters
Wellness Counselling is not just about “fixing” problems. It’s about guiding you back to your center, your clarity, your voice, and your radiance. It blends grounded psychological tools with intuitive insight and spiritual awareness—helping you align who you are, how you feel, and how you show up in the world.
Ariya's approach to Yoga Instruction
Ariya is a 500-hour certified yoga instructor with over 25 years of practice woven into her bones, breath, and way of life.
She began her yoga journey in the heat of Hot Yoga and Ashtanga, where she fell in love with the discipline, dedication, and strength these styles cultivate. Over the years, her practice softened, deepened, and expanded. Ariya found herself drawn to the slower, more nourishing traditions of Hatha and Yin Yoga — practices that invite us to slow down, feel more, and come home to ourselves.

Over the years, Ariya has had the joy of teaching yoga to children, teens, families, athletes, people healing from trauma, and elders. Every group brings its own magic, and she loves adapting the practice to meet people exactly where they are. Whether it’s playful movement with kids, grounding breathwork for youth, gentle mobility for seniors, or trauma-informed support for those rebuilding trust in their bodies — teaching yoga in all its forms is one of Ariya's greatest passions.
Today, Ariya teach's yoga as a space of restoration, alignment, and reconnection. Ariya loves holding postures a little longer, helping students unwind tension, restore their natural posture, and reconnect with their breath. Her classes blend mindful movement with the foundations of meditation, breathwork, and body awareness, creating a grounded, gentle, and deeply intuitive experience. Whether you’re new to the mat or have been practicing for years, Ariya's intention is simple: to help you feel supported, centred, and more at home in your body.
